No Winter Lasts Forever...

No Winter Lasts Forever...

As the dark, dreary, and cold grip of winter starts to loosen its hold on us all. As we open our doors, and open our eyes as wide as we can, with the warmth of the sun shining on our face. We know that spring is just around the corner. Spring is the best time to cheer because that's when we breathe new life into the year. New animals are born, new plants grow and blossom a fresh start with new friends and temperatures are just right, not too cold but not too hot.

That's just like life. You have to go through the hard times to get to the sunshine. No winter lasts forever, they come, and they go and you do reap what you sow. What you do in the hard times shows in the sunshine. If you don't do the work, you will stay hungry. You must go out in the cold to tend to your garden just like you have to face adversity when it comes at you, so you can get past it. If you don't plant the seeds of knowledge, pull the weeds of negativity, if you don't feed and water your garden with experience.

What is it going to grow?

What are you going to eat?

Nothing, if you get uncomfortable and don’t face your hardships you will not have anything to show for it. It is a life lesson. If you don't learn from it, you are sure to re-face it. It was hard once, why keep it that way?

The negative mindset tells the ego I don't like this, and the ego says feel sorry for me, but you have to overpower the ego. The ego is just an instigator trying to stop your progress. When you learn to suppress your ego and not your feelings, you can begin to grow. True growth is where the power is.

Think of the lion in the jungle. He is not the biggest, he is not the fastest and he is not the strongest. But he is still the king, he is the king because of his mindset. He knows that whatever life throws at him he will face it like a king.

Wars are first won in the mind, then on the field. What a baseball player does in the off season (the winter) determines how he will perform in the spring. It will determine if he plays or not. So, pay close attention in your off season, in your winter period, in your hard times. What you do then sets the pace for the good times, the spring, the new beginnings.

Let your sunshine bright even on your darkest days.

That my friend is the BEAST way!
